Warrior Angel Armorby ~WanderingWindward

Artisan Crafts / Metal Work

For the upcoming production of Marisol at Ohio University. Marisol is the story of a war against heaven, and as such there is a chorus of warrior angels. Our production will have each angel wearing at least one piece of armor. I did this Cuisse with attached knee cop, and steel feather details (because they're angels, you know?).

All mild steel, patterned, cut, shapped, welded, and finished by me. Leather straps were added after this photo was taken.

Uh, this production happened years ago, it's been done. The production shots don't show the armor very well at all, (it got covered up by layers of costume) is why I submitted this shot. The only thing missing from this shot is the leather straps that held it to the actor.
